Beauty - Skin Clinic - Academy
Since joining the team in 2017 we have been blessed with Ali’s superb management and organisation skills and she is an integral part of the smooth-running of the clinic. Prior to joining Cosmedics she was a freelance technician but with a desire to grow her skills and be part of a team she took the chance to advance her career with us. Alison has had 10 year’s of experience beginning with Individual Lash Extensions. Her artistic flare and unique style has bought us into an elite realm for lashes with her column being regularly fully booked. Since joining Alison has progressed her training starting with her NVQ levels 2 & 3 then added Russian Volume Lashes and Ellebana Lash Lifts to her growing portfolio. With the introduction of Medik8 Cosmeceutical Skincare Ali has also completed her full training and can offer skin analysis & advanced facials for all skin types. Her appetite for training and career advancement is leading her into furthering her skills in more medical treatments.
Alison is our primary trainer in all of our eyelash treatments and will be running training in our academy for new lash technicians, just another element to her career.
Keep your baths and showers short and make sure the temperature isn’t too hot, so you don’t dry your skin out, as hot water causes damage to the keratin cells which are located on our outer layer of the skin.
You should exfoliate 1-3 times a week, so skin doesn’t look dull, tired and rough it’s the key to healthy skin when we exfoliate, it removes the barrier of dead skin cells clogging the skin and uncovers fresh new cells below. This opens the way for moisturizing products to penetrate more deeply into the skin, which makes them more effective.
